Food is the one item that no human being can survive without since it is a basic human need. While it is a narrative about everyone’s home, where mom asks each family member what they want to eat. Cooking, in my opinion, is an ever-evolving art form; there is always something new to explore and experiment with. When I have free time, I enjoy eating and preparing different recipes. During the epidemic, my thoughts wandered, and I decided, “Why not bake a cake and try it out?” I’m clumsy and frequently receive verbal warnings from my mother. My mother used to taunt me when I was 12-13 years old, saying, “atyare bhess ni jem bese che pachi sasre b avijjj rete besjee.” I used to avoid her comments by distracting myself, but after seeing videos of chef Ranveer Brar, I gained interest in cooking.” While the epidemic provided me with the chance to learn how to cook, I spent that time improving and experimenting with those skills. As a result, I’d like to present my first recipe, which is:

Stay Sweet: KitKat wrapped Cake

Ingredients needed:

  1. white flour—-2 table spoon
  2. baking soda—-1 table spoon
  3. cocoa powder—–5 table spoons
  4. coffee powder—–3 table spoons
  5. sugar—-5-7 table spoons
  6. vegetable oil——1/2 bowl
  7. KitKat—20-30 pieces
STEP 1: FOR THE CHOCOLATE CAKE BASE
Preheat oven up to 350 degrees F. prepare two 5 inches round cake pans, by applying oil & lining the bottom of pan with pre-cut butter paper/parchment paper. Trace the shape of the pan by placing it over butter paper & then after cut it down & place it over the bottom of pan.
Mix white flour, baking soda, coffee powder sugar & salt in a bowl & combine everything well. Now pour vinegar & vegetable oil by making two holes, then pour water over it, mix well. The batter might have few lumps but do not over mix it. Now pour the batter in a pan and bake it over 30 min. 

STEP 2: ASSEMBLING THE CAKE
After baking once the cake is cooled down, cut it into 2 layers &  transfer the cream with the help of a spatula. Brush the cake layer with sugar syrup & pipe out chocolate frosting in circular motions & repeat the same process in 2nd layer. Line the KitKat bars vertically by sticking them on the side of the cake. Wrap a bow around the bars. You can also add Choco chips, & candies toppings and some jellies.
